My Favorites 2020: Subscription Boxes

Do you know anyone in your gift list who likes to receive packages in the mail? Then this post is for you.

Over the years, subscription boxes have become popular. From make up, to coffee to wines to even clothes, the choices are unlimited.

Since many of us will not be able to personally hand out presents or even have the time or the means to spend hours looking the “perfect” gift, I thought of sharing this list of subscription boxes that I loved.

From the carefully curated contents, to the delivery, to the prices and even customer service I received, these companies won my heart and I’m sure they will capture the hearts of the person who will receive it from you too.

Take note, this contains affiliate links. While no extra cost for you, I do get a commission when you purchase using the links. As always, I only recommend products that I personally love and used. Happy Shopping!

Hugs,

Love with Food Snack Box

There are three types of snack boxes to choose from – Tasting ($8-$10 per box), Deluxe ($16.50-$19.95 per box) and my favorite, Gluten Free ($19.99-$24.99 per box). It’s the perfect way to try a new snack and see if you or your child will like it. You also have the option to buy just one box to try or give as a gift. The best part, for every box or item purchased, the company donates a meal to a food bank.

Daebak

If you know someone who’s into the K fever, (that’s K for Korean), this is the perfect gift. In this website, you’ll find 3 types of K themed subscription boxes. The original Daebak box contains a collection of 8 fun items which may include plushies, snacks, makeup and so much more. The Daebak Jewelry box (which is $29.99 a box) contains 4-5 pieces of fashion jewelries. Lastly, the Snack Fever box which contains 13-15+ Korean snacks, ramen, drinks, chocolates and more.

The Daebak box and Daebak jewelry box are both seasonal subscription (that means every 3 months). While the Snack Fever box is a monthly subscription but you can pick your own plan which has discounts too. Take note, the items in the Snack fever box can’t be customized and they do have an allergy warning that some of the products may contain or manufactured in facilities handling the top 8 allergens.

Curateur

This is one of my all time favorites! Every piece in their seasonal (yes, that’s every 3 months) box are very beautiful, useful and elegant. A great way to update one’s wardrobe without the hassle of staying on the computer for hours. The items are also timeless so they can we worn or used anytime. Right now, you can get $25 OFF your first box by using the code WINTER25 at checkout.

Upside Delivered

This box is not just fun but really functional as well. Made to help kids cope with stress, this box contains practical tools and techniques to manage stress all at the comforts of your home. While it is meant for kids, after getting a box for my boys, I realized that it can also be used by adults. Backed by research and created by a licensed counselor and a licensed clinical social worker, this box is one of the most powerful and useful gifts one can share. I actually had a chance to chat with founders on Getting Candid with Rochie where we talked about Tips on Managing Our Child’s Stress or Anxiety.

Here’s a special offer just for you. When you purchase a yearly subscription, use the code FRUGALISTAMOM and you’ll receive the COVID box for free.
