Every Fall, my kids and I look forward to the GFAFExpo in Secaucus here in New Jersey. This year, our favorite GFAFExpo (Gluten Free and Allergen Free Expo) has a new name and look. It’s now called Nourished Festival, The Gluten Free, Allergy & Specialty Diet Festival. The event will be on October 5-6 from 10 am to 3 pm at The Meadowland Expo Center.
For those who have been attending for years, the Nourished Festival is still 100% Gluten Free. All attendees can still sample and purchase new products, meet brand ambassadors, get coupons and attend educational classes. The big difference aside from the name, is that there will be five zones in the exhibition hall instead of two.
Remember the Blue zone for Gluten Free and Red Zone for Gluten free and Nut Free products? Well, this time there is a zone for each category: Gluten Free, Gluten Free & Nut Free, Paleo, Keto and Vegan. Personally, I like this new zoning because it makes it easier for attendees to find the exact brands or products they are interested in. Does that system sound good to you?

Erin, has been my GO-TO for restaurant recommendations because she makes intensive and thorough research before sharing a place. Even if we have to avoid more than just gluten, her recommendations often times are very much allergy aware and can accommodate our restrictions.
