Now that my children’s musicals are done and the crazy rehearsal schedule is out of the calendar (for the next three months at least), I am excited to get an extra hour or two of “me time”.
I’m using these precious hours to read and learn new things. Moms need to relax and “sharpen the saw” too you know.
That being said, this list is filled with self help books and just one novel. I don’t want to get overboard and eventually feel pressured to read. After all, I want this to be a relaxing experience. If I finished all these books before the end of the season, I will let you know and then I’ll add another one.
Free to Focus by Michael Hyatt – I’ve been following Michael Hyatt online for years. I like his style of writing -simple and direct. Right now, I am in the process of improving my blog and I think this book will give me that much needed boost to tackle my goals heads on.
Food Sensitivity Testing by Julie Langton Smith – I just got this book early this week and as I scanned the pages, it is not your traditional food allergy book. Honestly, I am not familiar with Bioresonance and Biofeedback Therapy so this will be interesting.
Born Under Fire by Rina Z. Neiman – This is the only fiction book on the list. Since I am still in the middle of my Chinese Drama series which happens to be pure fantasy world (does the subtitle reading count?), I decided to keep it simple.
Green Enough by Leah Segedie – I had this book for months and while I scanned it a lot of times already, I still haven’t finished the book from cover to cover. So, this season, instead of going thru the list of products that are in the Bad, Better and Best categories, I will focus and read it from start to finish. I know it will be really handy for spring cleaning too.
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill – This book was highly recommended by my dear friend and mentor, Jenny. In fact, she can’t believe I haven’t read it yet as I am also a N. Hill fan.
What books are you reading right now? Love to see what you are up to.
Hugs,
