Crockpot Herb Turkey Breast

This recipe by fellow Allergy mom Megan Lavin of AllergyAwesomeness.com is the answer to two of the most common Thanksgiving dilemma — 1. The turkey is too big for the family and 2. Dry Turkey Breast. Since it’s made in a crock pot, there will be more room in the oven for other dishes. She even included a bonus recipe for an easy Onion Mushroom gravy.

Sugar Free Cranberry Sauce

Thanksgiving will not be complete without cranberry sauce. Do you agree? While it is convenient to grab a can, transfer the contents to a service dish and call it a day, making your own is definitely worth it. Not only in terms of flavor but the health benefits too. The extra calories saved can be exchanged for a bigger slice of pie right?

I’m sure this super easy recipe by Adrienne of Wholenewmom will be a staple in our holiday table.

Apple Butter Pie

If you need a break from the traditional apple or pumpkin pie, why not try this recipe created by Jacqui of DishingDelish. Not only did she combine the taste of apples and the texture of pumpkin, she created something delish that can be your family’s next favorite. Making your own apple butter is one of the best ways to use those apples you gathered from your last farm/picking trip.
