This week I spent much of my time in the kitchen. Since the kids are on their eating “growth spurts” again, I took the opportunity to develop new recipes which I will be sharing really soon. Are you excited? I’m thinking of calling it easy, allergy friendly quarantine cooking.
Aside from cooking, I also sorted out the boys’ clothes because they just keep on growing…. way too fast. As of this writing I’m officially the shortest person in our household. Ouch!
Anyway, here are some of the things I fell in love with this week.
As always, I would like to remind you that this post contain affiliate links below. Thank you so much for your support. Enjoy the weekend.
Enjoy the weekend and don’t forget to watch an episode of Expose and Express.

Solemates Anti-Bacterial Deodorizer
This Deodorizer is an all natural solution to eliminate the bacteria that forms in footwear, cleats, gym bags and anything where moisture and bacteria gather. I’ve been using it to deodorize my badminton shoes and walking shoes for about a month now. It has a nice fresh scent (not overpowering) and it really gets the job done.

Barleans Organic Olive Leaf Complex
For starters, I received a sample of the product through the New Hope Influencers program. Supplements often a bad reputation when it comes to taste. With a nice peppermint flavor, this is a nice addition to my morning coffee.
Connecting the Pots Cookbook
This cookbook by Malou Perez Nievera has been on my coffee table for months. The recipes are easy to make and her stories are very interesting. I love that she highlighted dishes that are native to her region in the Philippines. Yes, there are so many types of cuisines and regional style of cooking in the Philippines. Some of the ones featured on her book are new to me as well. But you know what? Everything I’ve tried were delicious and foul proof.
Head’s up, I will be giving away a copy of this cookbook really soon.
Acne Treatment
Lately, I’ve been fighting this thing called “maskne” or acne caused by wearing a mask. Yes, there is such a thing and it’s getting quite common. This acne treatment from Beautycounter is amazing. It works without drying my skin. One of my daughters has been using it for over a year and it helped keep her teen skin clear.
