Friday Favorites: Partake Cookies, Wishwork Book, Falafel Mix and Face Serum

When the world gives you too much negativity, choose to see the positives.

The past few weeks have been an emotional roller coaster ride. Most people even compared the series of events this Spring as something straight from a Jumanji game. (Okay, whoever started it, better finish it now.)

Yes, we were bombarded with so much dispiriting news. But we all can’t deny that behind all these gloominess, there’s also a ray of hope. If we only change our focus, we will find things that can make us smile and help us look forward towards a better tomorrow.

With that in mind, I’m sharing these products I am loving this week.

Partake Cookies

Finally! These delicious, gluten free and healthier allergy friendly cookies are now available in Target. This New Jersey based company started by Denise Woodard has gone a long way and I am so fortunate to have witnessed its growth. Here’s my post about Partake Foods years ago.

Trader Joe's Falafel with Tumeric Rice

Trader Joe’s Falafel Mix

I first tried this falafel mix during lent when I abstained from eating meat for 40+ days. It was so easy to make (just add water) and the result was amazing. In fact, it is way tastier than most restaurants that offer falafel in their menu.

The kids can’t get enough of these “gluten free and vegan meatballs”. At $2.99 a box (makes about 30 pieces), it is such a good deal.

Wishwork 21 day Journal Book

Wishwork Book

This red book is small yet very powerful. I love how the author, Alexa Fischer used simple words and direct to the point messages. Not only will it bring out your inner child, it also empowers the reader to work towards the fulfillment of their own dreams.

This book reminded me that no dream is too big or too small. That our own dreams matter and were there for a purpose.

Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel

This product is a game changer for me. I have been using it for over 4 months now and the results are amazing. This leave on peel does an excellent job in improving my skin’s texture and over all clarity without irritation, redness or over drying. I can really feel a difference the next day. My face is smoother, more hydrated and brighter.

For $63 a bottle, it one of the best self care investments every woman should have. Best part, it is from a B corp company that takes pride in formulating, advocating and educating about safer skin care products.

For full disclosure, I am a Beautycounter consultant and you can check out the products using my personal link.

What made you happy this week? I’d love to hear from you. Write it down in the comments section below.

Have a relaxing and fulfilling weekend my loves.

Hugs,
